SEM 9 (fig. 19)
The appliance is designed to exhaust fumes and odours very silently and in the best way. It must be
installed in the house and connected to the cooker-hood, which is in the kitchen (fig. 19).
Roof installation: make a square opening in the roof for a square pipe with dimensions 180x180mm.
Put the two brackets as shown in fig 20 and mark the holes you are going to drill
Insert the stainless steel pipe trying to match the opening realized (fig. 21) making sure that the pipe
comes out of the roof just to enable the installation of the SEM 9 (fig. 22).
Should you need both the pipes, take into account that they are telescopic and fix them through the 8
screws supplied (fig. 23).
Make sure that the stainless steel pipe is in a vertical position. Then make the holes matching the holes
in the brackets (fig. 24), Fix the pipe to the roof using the 6 screws supplied (fig. 24).
Use a round pipe at least 10cm longer than the stainless steel pipe and fix it to the flange of the SEM9
through a hose clamp (fig. 25).
Insert the SEM 9 with the round pipe inside the stainless steel previously fixed to the roof, making at-
tention to let the electrical cable pass inside the stainless steel pipe (fig. 26). Fix the motor to the pipe
through the 8 screws supplied (fig. 27).
Connect the round tube to the pipe of the kitchen.
Electrical connection: connect the electrical cable of the motor to the product installed in the kitchen
(fig. 14).
