The fact that the towing bracket has been mounted to the vehicle must be entered in the
vehicle papers at the next possible opportunity. The mounting instructions must be added to
the vehicle papers.
General Installation Intructions:
If present, remove insulating compound and/or underseal in the area of the towing bracket
contact surfaces. Coat bare bodywork with anti-corrosion paint.
Mount 7-pin electrical system as per DINV 72570.
Mount 13-pin electrical system as per ISO 11446.
Retighten all mounting bolts of the towing bracket after aprox. 1000 towing km. Please note,
that after mounting the drawbar the mass of your vehicle will change.
Mounting instructions:
Remove the rear bumper and unhook the exhaust manifold.

Dismantle the two supplements of the chassis limb (you will not need them any more).

Slide the drawhook (1) into the chassis beam, then fix it to the factory made points of the

chassis beam at points „a", using the enclosed fixing elements according to the guidance
of the drawing.
Fix the accessory plate (2) loosely to the body of the drawhook at points „b", then to the
–
car at point „c", by means of the enclosed fixing elements according to the guidance of
the drawing.
Set the drawhook into the middle position and finalise the tightening of each bolt.

Make cutting on the bumper according to the enclosed punching template.

Reinstall the exhaust manifold and the bumper.

By means of opening the rear cable bundle, complete the electrical connections according
–
to the regulations.
Only specialised services are authorised to install drawhooks.
