4. Lagging
The pipes entering and leaving the collector must be well-lagged. The lagging foam should be checked every year to make sure that
it is not damaged. If the lagging is to be exposed to sunlight, UV stable foam (or metallic lagging) should be used. Otherwise it will
deteriorate rapidly.
