GLASS TUBE HEAT PIPE STRUCTURE
The hot steam rises as far
as the end of the heat pipe
Liquid medium
When the steam cools, it liquefies and returns
to the bottom of the pipe to repeat the cycle
Open the box(es) which contain the vacuum tubes and the heat pipes Check that all the vacuum tubes are intact and that the bot-
tom of each tube is still silver. If it is white or clear, this means that it is broken and needs to be replaced. Each vacuum tube contains
eight metal fins for heat transfer. As soon as you take the take the tubes out of the box, put on the plastic caps you will find in the
collector box. They will protect the bottom end of each glass tube and prevent them breaking if knocked. Do not remove them or
expose the pipes to sunlight until they are installed. Otherwise the inside tube and the thermal transfer fins will get very hot. The out-
side glass surface, however, will not get warm.
Special feature
The system can work with pressures of up to 0.6 Mpa. It can be combined with an existing power source. There is no need to ins-
tall the tank on top of the collector.
