1. Cleaning
Regular rainfall keeps the vacuum tubes clean. However, if they are very dirty, they can be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm soapy
water or window cleaner. If getting at the tubes is difficult or dangerous, you can always use a pressure hose with water.
2. Leaves
In the autumn, leaves may collect between the pipes or underneath them. Remove them regularly for optimum performance and to
avoid any risk of fir. (The solar panel does not cause inflammable materials to ignite).
3. Broken tubes
If a tube breaks it should be replaced as soon as possible to keep the collector working at peak performance. However, the system
will still work even if one of the tubes is broken. The pieces of glass should be removed to avoid any damage.
