Preliminary work

Remove the front fender (see repair manual).

Raise the motorcycle using a work stand (see repair manual).

Remove the fork legs (see repair manual).

Remove the lower triple clamp (see repair manual).
Preassembly of upper triple clamp

along with handlebar supports
from the original triple clamp.

It is recommended to grease all bearings, clean
sealing elements and check for damage, replace
parts if necessary (scope of supply steering head
bearing kit).
Final steps

Install the lower triple clamp (see repair manual).

Install the front fender (see repair manual).

Check steering head bearing play (see repair manual).
–
Remove the motorcycle from the work stand (see repair
manual).
–
Check the headlight range of the headlight (see repair
manual).
