SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
The ventilation unit ensures a healthy indoor climate by ventilating
continuously. This requires a minimum ventilation flow rate and therefore, the
unit does not have an On/Off switch. The occupant must ensure that the de-
vice is always under power. Vasco's ventilation system is a balanced ventilation
system including heat recovery, which ensures a comfortable and healthy
indoor climate in a controlled manner.
Only a professional installer is authorized to open the ventilation unit.
The installer should use appropriate tools for any work on the ventilation unit.
The electronic components of the ventilation unit may be 'live'.
In case of a fault, check by consulting a professional installer and only let
professional personnel carry out repairs.
This device is NOT intended for use by persons - including children - who
have reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or who lack experience
and knowledge, unless they are supervised by or receive instructions about
the use of the device from a person who is responsible for their safety.
Children must be supervised to make sure that they do NOT play with the
device.
If the power cord is damaged, the manufacturer or the after-sales service
or persons with similar qualifications should replace it to prevent dangerous
situations.
The user is responsible for safely removing the ventilation unit at the end of
its lifespan. This should be done according to the locally applicable laws or
regulations. You can also dispose of the device by bringing it to a collection
point for used electrical devices.
