The ventilation unit should be inspected periodically for contamination.

MAINTENANCE

The ventilation unit should be switched off for inspection by making the unit
free of voltage. The ventilation unit contains rotating mechanical components.
If you make the unit free of voltage, these components continue to rotate for
a few seconds. Therefore, wait approx. 20 seconds after switching off the unit
until the components stop rotating. The user should check that the installer
periodically maintains the complete installation.
Make sure that no one else can make the unit 'live' before you have
finished your work activities. Turn the voltage back on only after the
ventilation unit is installed and all components are mounted.
Vasco is not liable for damage caused by non-compliance with the safety
WARRANTY
regulations or by not observing the instructions in the user manual. You will
find the warranty conditions on page 20 of this manual.

3 MANUAL FOR THE USER

OPERATION

This ventilation unit, including heat recovery, is intended for ventilating houses.
Specific characteristics of this ventilation unit are:
1.
The heat exchanger with very high yield ensures optimal heat transfer
from the hot contaminated exhaust air to the cooler freshly supplied
outdoor air. The two airflows do not come in contact with each other.
On the other hand, the heat exchanger will cool the hot outdoor air to the
cooler indoor air during hot periods.
2.
Electrostatic air filters, which have a double function, have been fitted
into the two airflows. The first function is filtering the fresh air in which
pollen and coarse and fine dust particles are intercepted. The second
function is protecting the ventilation unit against contamination.
The filters also have an anti-bacteriological function.
On the one hand, the two energy-efficient DC ventilators ensure the
3.
supply of fresh outdoor air to the living room and bedrooms and on the
other hand, the exhaust of contaminated indoor air from the kitchen,
bathroom, toilet(s) and possibly the storage room.
4.
An automatic antifreeze protection ensures that the ventilation unit
can function frost-free, guaranteeing good ventilation during the winter
period.
5.
The ventilation unit can be operated in different ways:
- In three (3) positions by means of the wireless 3-position switch
- Demand-driven via sensors in the RF switches

Vasco recommends using this position during periods
of absence.
Unit operates in position 2 (medium).
This is the standard position during periods of
presence
Unit operates in position 3 (high).
This is the recommended position during showering or
bathing. It can also be used in case of extra ventilation
(visitors, family parties, etc.).
Unit operates in position 3 for 30 minutes.
After this period, the unit will switch to the previous
position. Pressing a position will prematurely end
this operation
If you combine the ventilation unit with a CO2
switch, then the ventilation unit switches to the
automatic position.
