MAINTENANCE OF THE VENTILATION UNIT
CLEANING THE FILTERS
Vasco recommends cleaning the filters every three months.
1. Disassemble the front panel of the unit.
2. Remove both filter caps from the unit.
3. Remove both filters from the unit.
4. Using a vacuum cleaner to remove the coarse dust particles;
vacuum only the dirty side (receptacle side) of the filter drawers.
5. Place the filters back in the unit.
6. Carefully insert the filter caps into the unit.
7. Reassemble the front panel onto the unit.
FILTER WARNING
The ventilation unit has an automatic filter warning that indicates when the
filters should be replaced. The lifespan of the filters is 12 months.
When replacement is needed, the LED on the position switch will light
up orange twice in succession during operation of the position switch.
REPLACING THE FILTERS
1. Disassemble the front panel of the unit.
2. Remove both filter caps from the unit.
3. Remove both filters from the unit.
4. Dispose of filters.
5. Place the new filters into the unit.
6. Carefully insert the filter caps into the unit.
7. Reassemble the front panel onto the unit.
8. Reset the filter warning by pressing the buttons 'Position 1' and 'Timer'
simultaneously for minimum
4 seconds, so that the LED
will light up green.

REPLACING THE BATTERIES IN THE RF SWITCH
The batteries in the RF switch must be replaced periodically. For this purpose,
remove the front plate and the printed board. The CR2450 battery is visible at
the backside of the printed board.
REPLACING THE BATTERIES IN THE RH RF SWITCH
The batteries in the RH RF switch for the bathroom must be replaced
periodically. For this purpose, remove the front plate. The 1.5V AA batteries
are now visible and can be replaced.
If you do not carry out the maintenance activities on time, the unit will
ultimately not function optimally. You can purchase sets of new filters
for the ventilation unit from your supplier of the Vasco ventilation
system (the dealer list is on www.vasco.eu).
CALAMITY
PROCEDURE IN CASE OF CALAMITY
In case of calamity the unit must be switched off by inserting the closing ele-
ments in the unit and turning the unit off with the switch.
1.
Put the unit in standby by holding the 'Timer setting' for 4 seconds.
2.
Remove the front panel of the unit.
3.
Remove both filter caps from the unit.
4.
Remove both filters from the unit.
5.
Insert the closing elements in the unit.
6.
Carefully reinsert the filter caps into the unit.
7.
Reassemble the front panel onto the unit.
Switch the unit back on after the calamity by pressing the desired setting.
