This corresponds to the status as at
delivery (low positioning speed).
Tighten the adjusting screws 8 for the
S
end position cushioning:
– at first completely in the clockwise
direction,
– then loosen approximately one turn.
This corresponds to the status as at
delivery (high cushioning effect).
Moving to an end position:
1. Push the piston rod into the retracted end position (with DNCV-...-5/3G-... not
necessary). This corresponds to the status as at delivery.
2. Carry out one of the following steps in accordance with the table below:
– Apply current to electrical connection pin 6 for the retracted end position
or
– Press the manual override for valve
coil 12 (see inscription on the manual
override) for the retracted end position
(locking and non-locking); see Fig. 16).

3. Slowly pressurize the compressed air port aA.
The piston rod moves into the retracted end position.
4. Start a test run at low frequency and at low impact speed.
During the test run:
Check to see if the following settings on the DNCV-... need to be modified:

– the speed of the piston
– the end position cushioning
– the accurate adjustment of the proximity switches on the adjusting wheel 7.
