Introduction
The Druck DPI620G-IS is a battery-powered instrument for
electrical measure and source operations or HART®,
Foundation Fieldbus and Profibus digital communications.
The Druck DPI620G-IS also supplies the power and user
interface functions for all optional items. The touch-screen
can display up to five different parameters simultaneously.

WARNING
Do not use with media that has
an oxygen concentration > 21 % or other
strong oxidizing agents.
This product contains materials or fluids that
may degrade or combust in the presence of
strong oxidizing agents.
To prevent electrical shocks or damage to the
instrument, do not connect more than 30V
CAT I between the terminals or between the
terminals and the ground (earth). Any
connection must be compliant with the
terminal input/output parameters.
External circuits should have appropriate
insulation to the mains.
This instrument uses a Lithium-ion (Li-ion)
battery pack. To prevent an explosion or fire,
do not short circuit, do not disassemble, and
keep it safe from damage.
To prevent a dangerous release of pressure,
make sure that all the related pipes, hoses and
equipment have the correct pressure rating,
are safe to use and are correctly attached.

Optional Items
The following optional items can be used with the Druck
DPI620G-IS:
Pressure Module Carrier MC620-IS: this attaches

directly to the DPI620G-IS to allow one or two
PM620-IS pressure measurement modules to be
installed.
Pressure Module PM620-IS and PM620T-IS: this
•
attaches to the pressure module carrier (MC620-IS) or
a pressure station (PV62X-IS) to provide pressure
measurement.
Pressure Stations PV62X-IS: these provide pressure
•
generation capabilities and if the DPI620G-IS is
installed in a pressure station, it becomes a fully
integrated pressure calibrator.
Safety
The DPI620G-IS has been designed to be safe when
operated using the procedures detailed in this manual. Do
not use this equipment for any other purpose than that
stated, the protection provided by the equipment may be
impaired.
The product contains a Lithium coin cell for data backup.
This cell is not user replaceable.
Before installing and using the DPI620G-IS, read and
understand all the related data. This includes: all local
safety procedures and installation standards, and this
document.
Repair
Do not do repairs to this equipment. Return the equipment
to the manufacturer or an approved service agent.
