Plug in the unit and select your desired
cooking function on the control panel
(that button will light up in blue when
pressed).

Choose your desired cooking
temperature: Use the + and – on the
TEMP button to adjust (the temperature
range will depend on your cooking
function; see chart on p. 10).

Plug the other end of the thermometer
into the thermometer jack on the unit.
PROBE COOK will illuminate in blue.

Using the Temp + and - buttons, set your
desired target internal temperature for the
food in 5˚F increments from 125˚F to 165˚F.
Alternatively, if you're grilling, you can
select one of the preset buttons for
CHICKEN, MEAT or FISH. The unit will
automatically set the cooking temperature
and the target internal temperature. If you're
using the Meat preset, you can also select
your preferred doneness: Rare, Medium or Well. Repeatedly press the MEAT button to
make the selection.
