OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
HOW TO COOK USING THE PROBE THERMOMETER
Unlike an instant-read thermometer, the probe thermometer stays in your food through the
entire cooking cycle, constantly monitoring the temperature until it reaches the target. You
can use the probe thermometer with any of the five cooking functions. If using the probe,
see the chart on p. 10 for details on cooking pans and temperature ranges, but follow the
instructions here to program the unit.
1.
Set the unit on a hard, flat surface with at least 15 cm (6 inches) of clearance on
the top and sides. Put the cooking pan in the unit (and grill plate or air fry basket, if
applicable—see chart on p. 10).
2.
Insert the thermometer probe horizontally into the thickest part of your food (see
drawings). Be sure the tip of the probe isn't touching bone. If you're cooking multiple
pieces (for instance, several chicken breasts), put the probe in the largest one.
