• incorrectly changed there exists the risk of explosion. Only replace the batteries with
the same or an equivalent battery type.
• Parents should ensure that their child also checks to make sure that the LED backlight
is working on a regular basis.
• The LED rear light is not suitable for use by children under 4 years of age.
• The LED rear light is not a toy and its use by children is only permitted if they are
under the supervision of adults.
• The changing of batteries must only be carried out by adults.
• If the battery leaks, avoid any contact with the skin as this can lead to skin irritation.
• Leaking batteries must be disposed of immediately

1. Before the first use
Before first use, remove the safety strip on the reverse of the LED back light (Fig. I).
2. Removing and attaching the back light
• To remove the LED back light, push the clip on the top down and pull the back light
out of the bracket (Fig. J)
• Attach the LED back light by pushing it back into the bracket provided for this
purpose (Fig. J).
3. Functions
The LED back light has three different functions which can be used as you desire (Fig. K).
• Press once: Permanent light
• Press twice: Flashing light
4. Changing the battery
The LED back light is already equipped with two LR1130 (1.5V) batteries at the time of
purchase.
• To change the batteries, use a small Phillips screwdriver to open the screws on the
back of the light.
• Then lift off the cover and the board with the batteries. Replace the batteries and
replace the board and cover. Make sure the polarity of the batteries is correct (Fig. L).
• Press three times: Chase lighting
• Press four times: Light off
