NSTALLATION
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION MUST TAKE PLACE AFTER CONNECTION TO THE WATER NETWORK AND
FILLING THE APPLIANCE WITH WATER. IT IS FORBIDDEN TO POWER ON THE APPLIANCE BEFORE FILLING
IT UP WITH WATER! WHEN HEATING UP FOR THE FIRST TIME, HAVE PROPER OPERATION SUPERVISED
BY A PROFESSIONAL.
1. Open the closing valve (Item 1, Figure 1) and the hot water tap, but leave the cold water tap closed.
The water flowing in fills the tank, and it also appears at the outlet of the faucet. Let the water flow for a
few minutes to flush the appliance, then close the tap. Then, check the operation of the cold water tap.
Inspect the plug connecting to the mains: ramove contamination or moisture from it. (Dirt may deposit
on the plug in the course of the installation and connection to the water network.)
Turn the temperature regulator knob clockwise to app. 40°C. The indicator light will illuminate during the
heat-up time.
DISPLACED WATER SHOULD START LEAKING FROM THE OUTLET OF THE FAUCED DURING THE HEAT-UP
TIME.
At the end of the heat-up time, when the water reaches the preset temperature, the regulator switches
off.
When about 40 % of the water is discharged, the regulator should switch back on automatically. If heating
does not turn on, contact a technician.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
If you discover leakage from the interior of the appliance or any other sign of irregular operation,
promptly disconnect it from the water supply and electrical network using the mains cable and closing
valve.
If no water leaks during heat-up time, or it keeps leaking afterwards, the faucet is defective. Repairing it is
your interest.
1. Special open outlet faucet
The water heater may be operated with a SPECIAL OPEN OULTET FAUCET only. The faucet is not
included with the appliance. The prevention of damages in the appliance resulting from the generated
stagnation pressure can be guaranteed only when this faucet is used. Therefore, it is forbidden to modify
the structure of the faucet in any way, extend the spout or connect any other unit.
2. Temperature regulator
The temperature of the water in the water heater can be continuously set from 35 to 80
help of the rotary knob.
Turn the control knob clockwise to increase the desired temperature. Do not turn the knob all around!
The water heater runs most economically, if you set it to temperatures, at which the given tank volume
allows to draw the desired water quantity with or without mixing.
