A T T E N T I O N!
The following document is to be used in conjunction with the instruction manual for models IND...S ErP. In
the event of failure to comply with these instructions, no liability will be accepted for any damage resulting
from the malfunctioning of the device!
The packaging contains the following accessories:
1 pc of Fitted Flange plate set (flange plate, immersion heater) 1 pc of Flange plate
8 pcs of M12x22 screws
8 pcs of M12 washers DIN125
1 pc of Installation manual
COMMISSIONING
Please keep the invoices for the purchase and commissioning as proof of your right to the warranty. Before
starting installation, empty the tank.
Installation sequence:
1. Pull the control knob off the temperature control shaft, then unscrew the fixing screw. (Pictures 1-2).
2. Unscrew the 2 screws fixing the fitting cover (Picture 3).
3. Carefully disassemble the fasteners, grounding washers, casing and tank grounding plates located on
the M5 grounding screw on the flange plate (Pictures 4-5).
4. Then unscrew the 8 M12 screws securing the flange plate, and remove the flange plate and old seal
(picture 6)
5. Remove the fitted flange plate, new seal and screws (Picture 7).
6. Place the new seal on the flange (picture 8).
7. Then insert the fitted flange plate and secure it with the new screws and washers provided in the packa-
ge (Picture 9). Tightening torque 50-60Nm.
8. Position the earthing point as originally shown in Figure 1 and pictures 10-11-12.
9. Fill the tank and pressurise it. Check that there are no leaks. If there is a leak, repair the tank.
10. Connect the appliance to the mains as shown in the wiring diagram.
11. Following this, replace the fitting cover and control knob removed as per paragraph 1, and then com-
mission your appliance.
Operation of the appliance without protective earthing is FORBIDDEN and DANGEROUS TO LIFE!
HAVE THE FIRST HEAT-UP CHECKED BY A PROFESSIONAL!
TEMPERATURE REGULATOR AND LIMITER
The device has a built-in temperature control limiter, which can be set to a control temperature of 65 °C, to
ensure correct operation.
The limiter protects the hot water storage tank against damaging overheating in the event of a regulator
failure by switching off the heating before the water temperature reaches 75 °C. The limiter MAY ONLY BE
RE-CONNECTED BY A PROFESSIONAL, after the cause of the overheating has been rectified.
IF YOU FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE AND THE SAFETY AND PERFORMANCE FEATURES OF THE APP-
LIANCE ARE IMPAIRED AS A RESULT, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR RIGHTS UNDER WARRANTY AND GUARANTEE!
ELECTRIC CONNECTION
The hot water storage tank must only be connected to the mains supply with the connections shown in the
wiring diagram (Figure 2). Connection to the main supply shall be permitted only with permanent connecti-
on. THE USE OF WALL PLUGS IS PROHIBITED!
The mains current shall be supplied to the storage tank only by means of a two-pole switch of overvoltage
category III (with a distance of 3 mm between the open contacts). The flexible hose conductor shall have a
cross-section of at least 1,5 mm2 and shall include a green-yellow colour-coded earthing conductor.
THE HOT-WATER STORAGE TANK MUST NOT BE OPERATED WITHOUT PROTECTIVE EARTHING!
The protective earthing shall comply with the requirements of IEC 60364!
