The device emits toxic gases as
soon as the combustion engine is
running. These gases contain
carbon monoxide, an odorless and
invisible harmful gas, as well as
other toxic products. Never start the
combustion engine in closed or
poorly ventilated rooms.
• Objects struck by the mower blade
can cause serious injury. Carefully
check the area where you will be
using the machine, and remove all
stones, sticks, metal objects, wires,
bones, toys and other foreign
objects. Remember, string or cable
can get tangled in the cutter.
• Avoid holes, roots, mounds, stones
and other hidden objects. Uneven
terrain can cause a slip and fall
resulting in an accident
• Use the device only in good
working order. Before each
commissioning, check:
– that the device is mounted
correctly.
– that the cutting tool and the entire
cutting unit (cutting blade, fastening
elements, cutting deck housing) are
in perfect condition. In particular,
check that they are properly fixed,
that they are not damaged (nicks or
cracks) and that they are not worn.
– that the tank cap is correctly
screwed on.
– that the fuel tank, the fuel supply
parts and the tank cap are in perfect
condition.
– that the safety devices (e.g. blade
clutch/brake, ejection flap, housing,
handlebars, protective grid) are in
perfect condition and that they
operate correctly.
– that the collection box is intact
and fully assembled; it is forbidden
to use a damaged collection box.
– the oil tank cap is correctly
screwed on.
Preparation
• Never modify the factory setting of
the combustion engine and do not
run it at overspeed.
•
While mowing, always wear
substantial footwear and
long trousers. Do not operate the
equipment when barefoot or
wearing open sandals.
•
Thoroughly inspect the area
where the equipment is to
be used and remove all objects
which can be thrown by the
machine.
•
WARNING- Petrol is highly
flammable.
- store fuel in containers
specifically designed for this
purpose;
- refuel outdoors only and do not
smoke while refueling;
- add fuel before starting the
engine. Never remove the cap of
the fuel tank or add petrol while the
engine is running or when the
engine is hot;
- if petrol is spilled, do not attempt
to start the engine but move the
machine away from the area of
spillage and avoid creating any
source of ignition until petrol vapors
have dissipated;
- replace all fuel tank and
container caps securely.
•
Replace faulty silencers.
