Bus Address & Bus Parameters
The parameterization (bus address, baud rate, parity, mode) is done via the display menu (p. 27).
In the delivery state, the values are:
Communication Indicator
Communication is signaled via 2 LED indicators. Telegrams received without errors are signaled by the green
indicator lighting up. Faulty telegrams or triggered Modbus Exception telegrams are indicated by the red
indicator lighting up.
Bus termination
Modbus communication is galvanically isolated and usually operation without terminating resistor is possible.
If the device is used in a Modbus string, it should not be the last in the link, but a device with the possibility of
setting a terminating resistor.
Termination resistors may only be attached to the ends of the bus cable.
In networks without repeaters, no more than 2 line terminations are allowed.
