Operation
1. Keep hands and feet away from under or in
the vicinity of rotating parts. Always keep the
ejection opening clear.
2. Special care should be taken when using the
appliance on or when crossing pebble paths,
pavements or roads. Watch out for hidden
dangers and traffic.
3. Switch off the snow blower if you touch an
object with the appliance. Switch off the cir-
cuit breaker and check the snow blower thor-
oughly for any damage. If necessary, repair
the appliance before restarting the snow
blower and putting it into operation.
4. If the appliance vibrates abnormally, switch
off the snow blower and immediately locate
the cause. Normally vibrations always indi-
cate a problem.
5. Switch off the snow blower when leaving the
operating position, cleaning the worm drive or
ejection pipe, and when carrying out repairs,
adjustments or inspections.
6. Before cleaning work, repairs or inspections,
make sure that the worm drive and all moving
parts have come to a complete standstill.
Switch off the circuit breaker to prevent inad-
vertent accidents.
7. Do not remove snow along slopes. Take spe-
cial care when changing direction on slopes.
Do not remove snow from steep slopes. Al-
ways ensure secure footing on slopes.
8. Do not use the snow blower with damaged
guard plates or without properly installed
guard plates, covers or other protective de-
vices.
9. Do not use the snow blower near glasshous-
es, vehicles, windows, etc. without adjusting
the ejection angle accordingly. Keep children
and pets away.
10. Do not overload the appliance by removing a
lot of snow at once.
11. Do not use the appliance at high speeds on
slippery surfaces. Be careful when activating
reverse operation or pulling the appliance to-
wards you.
12. Do not aim the ejector at any persons pres-
ent and make sure that no-one is in front of
the appliance.
13. Disconnect the power supply to the worm
shaft when transporting the snow blower or
when it is not in use.

14. Only use accessories approved by the manu-
facturer of the snow blower (e.g. wheel
weights, counterweights, driver's cabs, etc.).
15. Do not use the snow blower in poor visibility
or light conditions. Always ensure a secure
footing and hold the handles firmly. Don't run,
just walk.
Maintenance and storage
WARNING! Serious hand injuries when
cleaning the blocked discharge channel!
Touching the rotating paddle wheel in the dis-
charge channel results in serious hand injuries.
These are the most common injuries on the snow
blower. To clean the discharge channel:
Switch off the snow blower!
Wait around 10 s until the paddle wheel
stops.
Always use a suitable tool to clean the dis-
charge channel.
Never use your hands to clean the discharge
channel!
1. Remove the battery after use and before
storing the appliance, and check the battery
for possible damage. Allow the snow blower
to cool before storage.
2. Regularly check that shear bolts, engine
bolts, etc. are properly tightened to ensure
safe operation of the appliance.
3. Always refer to the operating instructions for
important details when storing the snow
blower for prolonged periods.
4. Maintain or replace safety and instruction la-
bels as necessary.
5. Allow the appliance to continue running for a
few minutes after snow removal to prevent
the worm shaft from freezing.

Safety instructions relating to operation
Only use the appliance for the purposes for
which it is intended. Any non-intended use
can lead to injury and property damage.
Never operate the appliance with worn or de-
fective parts. Always replace defective parts
with original spare parts from the manufactur-
er. If the appliance is operated with worn or
defective parts, guarantee claims against the
manufacturer are excluded.
Do not operate the appliance if you are under
the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.
Keep hands, feet and other parts of the body
away from the running clearing paddle.
