Only operate the unit with the mains cable fully unwound. Never
wrap the mains cable around the appliance. Make sure that the
mains cable does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Lay the
cable in such a way that you cannot trip over it.
The unit may only be operated with the supplied power supply unit
(model M050200-S86EUU).
No user action is required to set the product to 50 or 60 Hz. The
product automatically adjusts to the correct frequency or voltage.
3. Preliminary Measures prior to
Starting Up
3.1 Device Installation
Remove all packaging material and all trans-
port bracing from the device.
For a safe and trouble-free running of the device,
choose the installation location which meets the fol-
lowing requirements:
The floor should be firm, flat and horizontal.
Minimum distances of 30 cm to the side, 30 cm
to the top, 30 cm to the rear and 1 m to the front
must be maintained from the enclosure.
Do not place the unit in a hot, wet or very humid
environment.
The socket must be easily accessible so that the
mains connection cable can be easily discon-
nected if necessary.
Temperature range: from 0 to +40 °C
Air humidity (no condensation): 5–75 %

4. Starting Up
4.1 Standby mode
Plug the USB-A connection of the USB cable into
the power adapter 4 and then connect the USB-
C connection to the device. You can now plug the
power adapter into the socket. The device is now
supplied with power. A short signal tone sounds
and the indicator light 2 flashes green 3 times.
4.2 Switch on the unit
Press the on/off button
product on. The appliance starts directly in
ventilation level "1" when first switched on - the
indicator light 2 lights up white.
4.3 Switch off the unit
To switch the appliance back to standby mode
after operation, press the On/Off button
up to the max. fan level + 1 more time. The fan
switches off and the indicator light 2 goes out.
