Attaching the control unit
The room thermostat can also be operated independently
without connection to a higher-level control. The range of
functions is then basically limited to displaying the room
temperature and control of the actuator on your heating circuit
manifold according to the specified setpoint temperature in the
manual operating mode (without time program). A connection
to Buderus Logamatic TC100.2 can be made at any time in the
future ( Chapter 4.3).
▶ Switch off the electric circuit.
To avoid damage to the appliance:
▶ insert the control panel as parallel to the wall surface as
possible and use the guide elements (amongst others,
notch above the socket). Pay particular attention to the
metal pins on the rear of the control unit.
▶ Insert the control unit [1] into the frame [2] and carefully
press against the flush-mounted appliance [3] until the
frame has a tight fit.

▶ Switch the electric circuit back on.
The appliance performs a function test at start-up and then
shows the room temperature and other display elements.
Furthermore, you can see from the flashing of the status
LED in orange that the pairing mode for connection to
Logamatic TC100.2 or SRC plus started automatically.
Without connection, the mode is also ended automatically
after about 6 seconds.
In the first 10 minutes after switching on the mains voltage, the
room thermostat is in start mode and the relay is permanently
activated. In the following 20 minutes, the relay is operated via
a 2-point controller in which the relay is switched on when
falling below the set temperature and switched off accordingly
when it exceeds it. In the following normal operation, the relay
is controlled via a PI control with PWM output.

Set valve type in the configuration menu
When commissioning for the first time or restoring the factory
settings ( Chapter 6.5), the valve type can be set:
▶ Press the rotary knob and keep it pressed for at least
5 seconds until the configuration menu appears.
▶ Turn the rotary knob to select the valve type:
–
Valve type "nO" (= normally open; currentless open)
–
Valve type "nC" (= normally closed, currentless closed)
▶ To confirm the selection: press the rotary selector
If no action is taken on the rotary selector, the configuration
menu is closed after a short time.
If necessary, to correct the valve type:
▶ Call up the configuration menu again.
The configuration menu is no longer available after the room
thermostat has been connected (paired) to Logamatic
TC100.2 or SRC plus. In this case, the valve type can be
adjusted via the appliance settings of the app MyMode or
MyBuderus.
To make it easier to set up the room thermostat via the apps at
a later time and to save having to remove and put the control
unit on again:
▶ attach the QR code sticker included in the scope of delivery
on the room thermostat or on the technical documentation.
