sites, on industrial installations, on domestic installations.
The source of testing voltage is a hand driven magneto ; with electronically
regulated test voltage. Besides total autonomy, this arrangement guarantees for
these instruments a stable voltage or current throughout the intended measurement.
When connected, these instruments check for voltage in the circuit under
t e s t .
Two metallic yellow cubes: that's what IMEG's look like ; the handle folds down
at the side of the instrument, and it's by sliding it along the carrying strap that the
top, which can't be lost, reveals the functional part in moulded plastic.
Supplied as an accessory, a wallet with loops (for belt or shoulder strap)
contains 4 leads, a probe and two black insulated crocodile clips, all designed to
guarantee connection of the instruments in optimum safety conditions.

The IMEG 1000 is equipped with a guarded terminal, so that a safety circuit can
be connected to avoid superficial current leaks disrupting the measurement of
strong insulators.
