8-7 Conversion
To transmit Bbit-byte data in
MIDI
SysEx, any data byte should be 7bit-byte data.
First, strip out bit7(MSB)
from source
7
bytes of datas, and built
1
byte data attatching MSB=O.
Then send this byte first, and send 1st
-
7th data without MSB. These 8 bytes are
combined to 1 block.
If
stream of data is less than
7
bytes, stream bytes
+
1
will be a size of the block.
