6.4 - CONTROL DEFINITIONS
6.4.1 - External controls
a) MIC INT/EXT switch
Switch used to select:
• either a microphone connected to the camera head (connector XLR3 with phantom 12 V
power supply),
• or a microphone connected to the CA25 adapter (with the 9 V phantom power supply)
as an audio source at the VTR or CCU output.
b) INCOM. Intercom level potentiometer
This potentiometer is used to adjust the intercom audio level.
c) BREAKER button
The BREAKER button rearms the thermal circuit-breaker after an accidental overload.
d) POWER ON/OFF switch
This switch makes or breaks the camera/adapter assembly main power. When the power
supply is cut off, the camera status is saved.
e) Call button
The CA25 CALL button has two functions:
• call to technical control room (engineer) (as long as the CA25 CALL button is pressed
down, the OCP indicator light lights),
• check of camera/CA25 system power supply without having to look in the viewfinder
(by pressing the CALL button, ON AIR light CRL1 lights).
f) ON AIR switch
Used to switch the antenna ON AIR indicator light (CRL1) on or off. Conversely, when the
CALL button on the CA25 is pressed, the indicator lights, whatever the position of the ON
AIR switch.
g) INCOM switch
Used to switch the cameraman's headset microphone on or off.
