• on the camera "VIDEO OUT" output:
- a black and white picture in which colour areas can appear if the image contains the
colour previously stored (on condition that the monitoring output is in the encoded
position, "MON SELECT" = COD).
NOTE: It is recommended not to start recording if "SKIN VIEW" = ON.
The OFF position clears all the "SKIN VIEW" settings.
• SKIN AQUIS: Performs automatic acquisition of the colour enclosed in the SKIN
VIEW function acquisition rectangle.
USE OF THE SKIN FUNCTION
1. Viewing in camera viewfinder
• Set "SKIN DETAIL" = ON.
• Set "SKIN VIEW" = ON: a rectangle is displayed in the viewfinder and if necessary
zebras if the image contains the previous stored colour.
• By centring it in the rectangle, select the colour for which it is desired to alter the contour
level.
• Acquire the colour by selecting the "SKIN AQUIS" line. Hatched markings (ZEBRAS)
are superimposed on the colour selected.
• Set "SKIN VIEW" to OFF.
• Adjust the desired contour level on the preselected colour using "SKIN DTL LVL".
2. Viewing with monitor connected to the camera "VIDEO OUT" connector.
• Set "MON SELECT" to COD.
• Set "SKIN DETAIL" to ON.
• Set "SKIN VIEW" to ON: the image changes to black and white. Colour areas will
appear if the image contains the colour previously stored.
• By centring in the viewfinder rectangle, select the shade for which it is desired to modify
the contour level.
• Acquire the shade by validating the "SKIN AQUIS" line. The shade selected changes
colour.
• Set "SKIN VIEW" to OFF. The complete picture is in colour.
• Adjust the desired contour level on the preselected shade using "SKIN DTL LVL".
