COMPUTER DRIVER SETUP

According to your need and the communication ways you would like to be used between remote computer and
instrument, it's necessary to install dedicated drivers.

8.2.2.1 USB-B Port Drivers

Instrument is equipped with famous FTDI chipset to garanti a stable and robust communication process with remote
computer. There for drivers can be downloaded directly from FTDI web site according to your remote computer
operating system: http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm
Warning: be carrefull to select x86(32bits) for 32bits Windows systems and selecting x64(64bits) for 64bits
Windows systems.
To know witch Windows version and type your remote computer is installed with, you have to go in Windows
"Control Panel" and select "System"'. A full page will be opened with some sections. Check the "System" section
where "processor", "memory (RAM)" and "System type" are located.
After complete download of correct driver package, unzip the file contain and launch the downloaded application.
When driver installation is completed you can connect instrument USB port to remote computer. The remote
computer will automatically recognize instrument and finish driver installation.

Before launching
of the availables communications ways (USB, RS232 or Bluetooth).
In case there is no instrument connected, application will start, but all functions related to instrument settings and
measurement will not be accessible.
Start application by cliking on the desktop icon as the following picture shown:
