Condensation
All awning tents suffer from internal condensation if one or more of the
following conditions apply:
high air humidity
high ground moisture
a drop in temperature
Severe condensation can run down the inside of the roof and drip off ties,
tapes and other internal fittings and can be mistaken for leaking.
➤ Increase ventilation by opening doors and/or windows.
➤ Install a waterproof groundsheet.
Pressure loss test
1. Inflate the awning tent.
2. Close all isolation valves (fig. l 2, page 7).
3. Check the air poles for pressure loss.
4. If the pressure reduced, check the air hoses (fig. l 1, page 7).
5. Check that the collars (fig. l 4, page 7) are done up tightly on the
isolation valves.
Reattach the isolation valves
If the connection between one or more of the air hoses and the isolation
valves may have loosened, proceed as follows:
1. Check the connections.
2. Inflate the awning tent.
3. Close all isolation valves (fig. l 2, page 7).
4. Check the pressure in the air poles.
5. Identify the affected air pole or the isolation valves from which air is
leaking.
6. Unscrew the collar (fig. l 4, page 7) completely on the deflated
side of the air pole valve.
7. Check that the air hoses (fig. l 1, page 7) is fully pushed onto the
isolation valve (fig. l 2, page 7).
8. Slide the conical washer (fig. l 3, page 7) in the direction of the
screw thread on the isolation valve.
9. Check that the conical washer with the smaller diameter (fig. l 3,
page 7) face the collar (fig. l 4, page 7).
10. Screw the collar (fig. l 4, page 7) onto the isolation valve (fig. l 2,
