Before you use the appliance for the first time, please do as follows: Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all the
packaging material and stickers. Keep the material (plastic bags and cardboard) out of reach of children. Check the appliance
after unpacking for any visible damage, possible from transportation.
Clean the pan and the removable grate with warm soapy water and a sponge.
Wipe the interior and exterior with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
• Place the appliance on a stable and heat-resistant surface.
• Place the removable grate properly in the pan.
• Place the pan into the appliance.
NOTE: the pan must be placed correctly, otherwise the appliance doesn't work!
• Plug the appliance into an earthed wall socket.
Do not fill the pan with oil, cooking oil or any other liquid.
Do not place anything on top of the appliance.
Do not put anything on the air inlet on the sides of the appliance, this disrupts the airflow and has a negative affect to the
hot air frying result.
The air fryer can prepare a large range of ingredients.
1. Check that the voltage in your home corresponds with the voltage printed on the bottom of the appliance and plug the
fryer into an earthed socket.
2. Carefully pull the pan (6) out of the air fryer by the handle (5).
3. Place the ingredients in the pan (6). Attention: never fill the pan (6) over the maximum, as this could affect the quality of
the end result. Check that the removable grille (7) is in place before adding the ingredients to the pan (6).
4. Slide the pan (6) back into the air fryer properly.
5. Turn the temperature knob (2) to the required temperature.
6. To switch on the appliance, turn the timer knob (1) to the required preparation time.
Tip: add 3 minutes to the preparation time when the appliance is cold.
If you want to preheat the appliance without ingredients, turn the timer knob (1) to more than 3 minutes and wait until the
thermostat light (4) goes out (after aproxx. 3 minutes). Then remove the pan (6), fill the pan (6) and turn the timer knob (1)
to the required preparation time.
• The on/off control light (3) and the thermostat light (4) go on.
• The timer starts counting down the set preparation time.
• During the hot air frying process, the thermostat light (4) lights up and goes out from time to time. This indicates that the
heating element is switched on and off to maintain a constant temperature.
• Excess oil from the ingredients is collected on the bottom of the pan (6).
