Storing the Geberit pressing tool
To ensure that the pressing tool has a long service life, observe the following points during
storage:
• Store the pressing tool without the pressing attachments inserted.
• Store the pressing tool in its carry case so that it is protected against dust, and only in dry
rooms.
• Store the pressing tool with the hydraulic valve open and the handle pushed backwards.
Disposal
Disposing of Geberit pressing tools that are no longer in use
Geberit pressing tools are made from high-quality steel and contain hydraulic oil. Therefore,
pressing tools that are no longer in use do not belong in non-recyclable waste. They must be
directly returned to Geberit for proper disposal or sent to a local collection point for tools/scrap
metal.
