Basic safety notes
Intended use
The Geberit pressing tool is exclusively used for pressing Geberit
pressing system pipes and pressfittings.
Only use Geberit pressing attachments (pressing jaws, pressing
collars and adapter jaws) that carry the compatibility mark .
The following Geberit pressing system dimensions may be pressed:
• Geberit Mapress pressing system up to dimension 66.7 mm
• Geberit Mepla pressing system, all dimensions
• Geberit Volex pressing system, all dimensions
The Geberit pressing tool is exclusively intended to be used in
accordance with these operating instructions. Other uses are deemed
to be improper and can lead to serious injury or death.
The Geberit pressing tool is not intended for:
• use with other manufacturers' pressing attachments
• use without pressing attachments inserted
The Geberit pressing tool together with Geberit pressing attachments
is not intended for:
• pressing objects other than those described in the operating
instructions, especially other manufacturers' pipes and pressfittings
