16. EQ: Press this to select the sound equalizer pre-set.

Fitting or replacing the remote control batteries
Use 2 "AAA" size batteries (UM/SUM-4, R3, HP-16 or similar).
1. Remove the cover of the battery compartment, push your thumb down on to the circle on
the battery compartment cover and slide it down.
2. Insert two batteries (type AAA 1.5V) observing polarity +/- as shown. When replacing the
batteries, use only the same type of battery supplied.
3. Replace the battery cover and clip it in place.
Caution:
● Replace all old batteries with new ones at the same time.
● Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for a long period of time. This will
prevent potential damage due to battery leakage.
● Do not use rechargeable batteries (nickel-cadmium battery, etc.).
● Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such
as sunshine, fire or the like.
● Risk of fire explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
Notes concerning use:
● Exposing the sensor on the unit and remote control to strong light may interfere with
operation. Change the lighting or the direction of the unit if this occurs.
● Keep the remote control away from moisture, heat shock, and vibrations.
