INSTALLATION
Before starting installation, read the general warnings and contraindications for use and adhere to them. THEN CHECK:
• That the accessory is visibly in good condition
• That the accessory fulfils all the required inspections: verification upon commissioning by the user, periodic checks and checks
after it has been disassembled or repaired.
• The functionality of the locking mechanism and the integrity of its components, in particular that the knurled cam and the knurled
socket are in good condition; if they show signs of wear, the accessory must not be used.
• That the swiveling eye is in good condition and therefore free of cracks, wear, abrasion or corrosion.
• The functionality of the joint.
• The WLL of the accessory to check that the capacity of the accessory is suitable for the load.
Only after that he preliminary checks have been completed, the accessory can be connected to the lifting sling:
• Check that the lifting sling to which the accessory will be connected has a WLL at least equal to that of the accessory itself.
• Check all lifting sling components for damage.
• Check that the accessory is correctly connected to the sling by means of the load ring.
After successful completion of these checks, the load can be connected to the accessory.
OPERATIONS
To open the knurled cam, move the operating lever from position A to position B (Fig. 3).
