ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Parts List:
(1) Chair Scale Assembly
(2) Wheels
(2) Plastic Feet
(1) Arm Support
This 595KL scale has been calibrated at the factory. Remove each assembly from its carton
and unwrap packing material carefully to prevent scratching the unit's parts.
1. Place the chair scale assembly upside down on a level floor.
2. Unscrew 2 screws from both wheel supports. Attach the wheels to both sides of the
chair assembly and replace the screws (use 5/32" or 4mm Allen wrench).
3. Screw the two plastic feet onto the chair assembly.
4. Turn the chair scale assembly right side up and adjust the plastic feet for equal
stabilization of the chair assembly.
5. Unscrew 2 screws from each gripper cover and remove both covers (use Phillips
screwdriver). Keep these screws for reinstalling in the same locations.
6. Hold the arm support with the handles upward, attach the support behind the backrest,
aligning the tube grippers with the gripper covers' location. Screw 2 screws located on
each tube gripper. Do not tighten the screws at this stage (use 3/16" or 5mm Allen
wrench).
7. Tighten the upper screw at each gripper and then tighten the lower screws.
* Tightening of lower screws determines the freedom of motion of the arm support.
8. Reinstall both gripper covers using 4 screws removed in step 5.
The scale may be operated by an AC power source adapter or by 6-C cell batteries.
The scale will automatically switch to battery operation when an AC power source is absent.
