23 °C and in ventilation mode when the temperature is higher than 20 °C but below or equal
to 23 °C. Indicators of the function in progress come on at the same time, e.g. (9) and (5):
cooling with low fan speed.
Fan mode
To run the air conditioner in ventilation mode, press button F until LED (10) is on. If you wish
to switch the fan speed, press button (D): LED (4) indicates high speed, LED (5) low speed.
If the unit is in auto mode (8), it will select the fan speed automatically according to the
ambient temperature (the related LED will light up), at this time the fan speed button is
inoperative.
Cool mode
To run the air conditioner in cool mode, press button F until LED (9) is on. The unit starts the
fan at low speed; the compressor is started only if the set temperature is below the ambient
temperature.
If you wish to increase the fan speed, press button (D) and check LED (4).
To disable cool mode, press button (F), LED (8) goes off, LED (10) will be on and the unit is in
fan mode.
Thermostat, adjusting the temperature
Press button Ea and/or Eb to select the desired ambient temperature (ranging from 18 °C to
32 °C).
The display will show the temperature you set (LED 7), when you press the button Ea or Eb.
Otherwise it will display the room temperature (LED 6 is on). The preset room temperature of
this unit is higher than 23 °C for cooling.
Using the Timer
Press the timer button (B) to set the desired time; you may set a maximum delay of 8 hours.
If the unit is switched on it will switch off automatically when the set time has elapsed. If the
unit is not switched on then after the preset time has elapsed the unit will start to operate
set to the last function/settings used.
Sleep mode
This mode can only be used when cooling is selected. Press the sleep button (C). Every hour
the temperature may rise by 1 °C, to a maximum of 2 °C. After 12 hours the unit will switch
off automatically. Press the sleep button (C) again to cancel sleep mode. In sleep mode the
set temperature cannot be changed.
Compressor LED (1)
When this LED is on, the compressor is in cooling mode. When this LED is off, the compressor
may be in de-ice mode or in fan only mode.
Please note, after the unit has been switched off at the control panel/remote control it
will take at least 3 minutes before re-starting the compressor to prolong its life. When
connecting and disconnecting from the mains supply it will start immediately. Please wait 3
minutes before plugging the unit into the mains supply.
Note: plugging the unit back into the mains supply before waiting 3 minutes will make the
unit fail to operate correctly.
If this happens remove the plug and wait for 3 minutes before re-inserting the plug.
