MAINTENANCE
•
Make sure the vehicle is in a vertical position.
•
Inspect from the front side of the vehicle, under the left fairing, check that
the coolant level is between the two reference notches that indicate the
maximum and the minimum quantity of this liquid.
•
If the level is under the minimum level, fill in as described.
Coolant fill in
Once the check is performed, if necessary add coolant; proceed as follow:
1. Remove the coolant reservoir cap.
2. Wait a few seconds so that any pressure in the system is purged.
CAUTION
Coolant is toxic if ingested and in contact with your eyes or skin may
cause irritation. If it happens, rinse repeatedly with plenty of water
and seek medical advice.
If swallowed, induce vomiting, rinse mouth and throat with plenty or
water and seek medical advice immediately.
3. Turn the handlebar to the right.
4. Top-up the coolant until the liquid level reaches the upper notch at the
front of the coolant reservoir.
5. Do not exceed this level otherwise, the coolant will come out during
engine operation.
6. Refit the coolant reservoir cap.
7. Check the liquid level, as described above.
