3 Install the Safety Rope (Page 2 – C)
Caution: Safety rope is required during the
camera installation.
4 Install the Camera (Page 2 – D)
Steps:
1. Secure the wall mounting bracket with hex
nuts and washers.
2. Secure the head cover to the bracket with
delivered set screws.
3. Install the camera to the bracket.
1) Hook two ends of the safety rope to the
back box of the camera and the bracket
respectively.
2) Hitch the camera onto the head cover with
the hook on the back box.
3) Route the cables through the head cover
and bracket. Connect the corresponding
cables.
4) Align the back box of the camera with the
head cover. Tighten the lock screws to
secure the camera and the bracket.
5* (Optional) Install the Camera with Pendant
Adapter (Page 3 – E)
Use the optional bracket with the pendant
adapter to install the camera.
Before you start:
Finish the installation of the optional bracket.
Steps:
1. Loosen the lock screws of the adapter and
secure the adapter to the bracket.
2. Secure the head cover to the bracket with
delivered set screws.
3. Install the camera to the bracket.
1) Hook the safety rope to the bracket.
2) Hitch the camera onto the head cover with
the hook on the back box.
3) Route the cables through the head cover
and bracket. Connect the corresponding
cables.
4) Align the back box of the camera with the
head cover. Tighten the lock screws to
secure the camera and the bracket.
6 Install the Camera in Vibration (Page 3 – E)
Extra fixation is recommended when installing
the camera in places of proper vibration.
Caution: The camera can not be installed in
severe vibration environment.
Steps:
1. Adjust the camera angle.
2. Remove the protection cover of the head
cover.
3. Tighten the M3 nut to fix the camera.
4. Replace and close the protection cover.
7 Waterproof Method (Page 5 – G)
1. Install network cable waterproof jacket.
2. Use supplied waterproof tape to protect
cable connectors and unused cables.
