Hand-held
remote
control
transmitter
All
tape
transport
functions
as well
as
the
monitor
function
of the
cassette
tape
recorder
can
be
initiated
from the remote
controls
B201,
8201CD,
and B205.
The re-
corder
is switched
on when
one
of the
keys
PAUSE,
<<,
>>,
PLAY or STOP
is pressed,
and the corresponding
function
is
executed.
The
POWER
switch
on the unit
itself
can be
in
the
ON or STANDBY
position.
The record
function
is acti-
vated by simultaneously
pressing
REC and PAUSE
or REC
and
PLAY.
For remote
control
of the monitor
function
(change-
over
SOURCE/TAPE),
the MONITOR
switch
on the recorder
must
be in SOURCE
position.
The POWER
OFF key switches
off
all
remote
controlled
units.
With
the * key two
tape
machines
can
be controlled
independently
of each
other
by address~
ing the * function
in one
of the units.
Addressing
the * function
Open
the
jumper
(JS)
on the
IR receiver
PCB of one
of
the tape recorders
(refer
to component
diagram).
AS a con-
sequence
all
commands
of
this
unit
will
be executed
only
when
the * key
is pressed
first
and held,
and
in addition
the corresponding
function
key
is pressed.
