following
tools
are
required:

screwdriver

Warning:
The
unit
and the
IR receiver
PCB
contain
electrostati-
cally
sensitive
components
which
should
be
installed
only
on
correspondingly
protected
benches.
Preparatory
steps:
Detach
the
AC power
cord.
Remove
the top cover
unfastening
the
two
screws
on the rear.
its right-hand
side.
In order
to remove
the bottom
cover,
first
remove
the front
base strip and then
unfasten
the
four
screws
in the middle
of the
rear
panel.

separate
the
13-pin
and the 20-pin
connector
of the
cable
harness
from
the
CIS multipoint
connector
(B8] and
(C].
Plug the

PCB of the cable
harness
to be installed

into
the CIS
multipoint
connectors
[B]
[C}.
Plug
the
previously
detached
13-pin
and 20-pin
connectors
into the
CIS multipoint
connector
of the
Connector
PCB.

Carefully
introduce
the IR receiver
PCB
[3]
from the top
toward
the
front
into
the
cutout
of the Peak
Meter
Display
1.710.356
CF],
align
it with both pins
[2],
and fasten
it
with
the
hexagon-socket-head
screws
[1].
The
screening
plate
must
not
touch
the
solder
side
of
the
peak
meter
display.

Plug

Reinstall
the
cover,
base
strip,
and
the
top
cover.
