GENERAL
The
REVOX
B203
+ Timer
Controller
is the remote
control
center
of your
REVOX
hi-fi
system.
It
interconnects
the
individual
Series
B200
components
and greatly
simplifies
the
listening
functions
through
its operating
modes
EASY
REMOTE
and
EASY
REM+LOC.
As
a
timer
it is also
able
to
automatically
programmed
events
at the
desired
time.

Operation
The REVOX
B203
* Timer
Controller
itself
has
no operator
controls.
It
'is
always
operated
and programmed
via
the
REVOX 8205
IR remote
control.
Exception:
The
REVOX.B203
* Timer
Controlter
is equipped
with
an
RS
232
serial
interface
for
operation
with
a home
computer
or
a personal
computer.
The
user
is guided
through
the operation
and
programming
by menus
which
are
very
easy
to follow.
The
individual
menus
are
located
below
the
transport
com-
mand
keys
of the
hand-held
IR transmitter
B205
and
are
called
in conjunction
with
the EASY/a
(dot)
key.

and hold down
the Easy/m
key and simultaneously
press
the
TIME
key ~->
the B203
+ Timer
Controller
switches
to TIME
mode).

cancellation

the
called

The
complete
selection
can be scrolled
up or down
by means
of
the
VOLUME
+/- keys and/or
be acknowledged
with
the
ENTER
key.
ALL
other
keys
retain
their
normal
function.
Note:
If
the
6203
» Timer
Controller
operates
in one
of
the
input
modes,
it automatically
terminates
this
mode
if
no
entries
are
made
for
approx.
120 seconds.
Should
this
occur,
reactivate
the
mode
and
press
the
ENTER
key several
times
to
jump to the place
where
the mode
has
been
terminated.
Caution:
To
prevent
overloading
of the
IR receiver,
do not
beam
directly
into
the
IR receiver
with
the hand-held
IR trans-
mitter
from
too
short
a distance.
Overloading
manifests
itself
in
that
the
commands
will
not
be
executed
even
though
the red LED
in the
receiver
window
is on.
