3.2
Pay particular attention to all Notes with the following warning symbol.
3.3
Maintenance and operation of the compressor may only be performed by persons who
are familiar with the construction and operation regulations and the safety and first aid
instructions.
3.4
The compressor is used for the compression of atmospheric air. It must not be used to
compress other types of gas.
3.5
Compressed air can be used for various purposes such as: Motor charging, pneumatic
tools, dyeing, cleaning with water based agents, etc. It is important that, in all cases, the
operating procedure and the applicable regulations are known and are adhered to.
3.6
During operation, make sure that the compressor is in perfect condition and all
malfunctions are corrected immediately.
3.7
During operation, adhere to the current standards and fire regulations.
3.8
Always wear protective goggles when operating the compressor to protect your eyes
from foreign objects that may be present in the air stream.
3.9
If there is excessive noise, appropriate hearing protection must be worn.
3.10 Do not use compressor parts as a support or guide.
3.11 Safety regulations for the operation of the pressure vessel:
Operate the pressure vessel correctly and within the pressure and temperature
limits;
Always be alert and monitor the status and efficiency of the protective devices
and control units. Check that the pressure switch and safety valve, other valves
and pressure gauge are working properly;
Release the resulting condensate from the pressure vessel once daily.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU:
OPERATE THE COMPRESSOR WITHOUT EARTHING;
CONNECT THE COMPRESSOR TO A STANDARD DOMESTIC POWER
SUPPLY OR EXTENSION CORD IF THERE IS A POWER DROP BETWEEN
THE POWER SUPPLY AND THE LOAD POINT OF MORE THAN 5% OF RATED
VOLTAGE (IEC 60204, K.13.5);
OPERATE THE COMPRESSOR WITHOUT OR WITH DAMAGED ELECTRICAL
PROTECTIVE DEVICES;
OPERATE THE COMPRESSOR IN A NON-READY CONDITION OR WITHOUT
REGULAR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE;
MAKE CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS TO THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM OR
THE AIR SUPPLY, IN PARTICULAR, NEW SETTINGS MUST NOT BE
APPLIED FOR THE MAXIMUM AIR PRESSURE VALUE AND SAFETY VALVE;
ALTER THE PRESSURE VESSEL, WELD ON PARTS OR SWITCH ON
DEVICES,
IN A MANNER THAT NEGATIVELY IMPACTS THE FUNCTION. IN THE EVENT
OF A DEFECT, THE PRESSURE VESSEL MUST BE REPLACED
COMPLETELY;
USE THE COMPRESSOR WITHOUT PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT ON THE
BELTS;
TOUCH THE COMPRESSOR UNIT, THE COMPRESSED AIR SUPPLY OR THE
COOLING FINS OF THE ELECTRIC MOTOR DURING OPERATION, AS THESE
CAN BE EXTREMELY HOT;
OPERATE THE COMPRESSOR WITH WET HANDS OR WITH WET SHOES;
