1) In the selection menu for scanning (15), turn
the knob PUSH / CONTROL to select the menu
item

3) Scanning of a group will always start with the
first channel which is automatically selected
To check the first channel, press the knob

the channel is not already used If the channel
is used, it will be skipped and the next free
channel will be indicated

Press Setup to Save.

4.5.4 Saving preferred frequencies
to user-defined groups
It is possible to save up to 22 preferred frequen-
cies to six user-defined groups
1) Call up the following menu via the menu item

(see fig 2 on page 17):

2.Clear Group
3.Return
2) The first menu item is selected Press the knob
PUSH / CONTROL to call up the following set-
ting menu:

3) The group number is selected Turn the knob
PUSH / CONTROL to select the group (U1 – U6)
to which the frequency is to be saved
4) Press the knob PUSH / CONTROL to select the
channel number Turn the knob to select the
channel number within the group to which
the frequency is to be saved
5) Press the knob PUSH / CONTROL once again:
in the line in which the frequency is set, the
digits before the decimal point are selected
Turn the knob to set the transmission fre-
quency in steps of 1 MHz
6) For fine adjustment in steps of 0 025 MHz,
press the knob once again so that the digits
after the decimal point are highlighted Then
turn the knob
7) Press the button SETUP to save the frequency
selected
8) To save further frequencies, repeat steps 2 – 7
9) To exit all menus, press the button EXIT twice
– Calling up a channel from a user-defined
group –
The channels from user-defined groups are called
up via the menu item
described in chapter 4 5 2 User-defined groups
are marked with the letter
number When the knob PUSH / CONTROL is
turned clockwise, they will appear after group 6;
when it is turned counter-clockwise, they will ap-
pear before group 1
– Deleting a user-defined group –
1) Call up the following menu via the menu item

2) Turn the knob PUSH / CONTROL to select the
second menu item
