2) Two options are available for routing the mi-
crophone signals received to the audio inputs
of the subsequent unit (e g mixer, amplifier):
– Routing all signals individually: Use the XLR
connections CH1 – CH4 (19)
– Routing all signals mixed: Use the connec-
tions MIXED AF OUTPUT (18)
The output levels can be switched between
line level and microphone level (chapters 4 4
and 4 6 1)
3) For power supply, use the cable provided
to connect the mains jack (14) to a socket
(230 V/ 50 Hz)
Hint: The receiver has a low power consumption
even when it is switched off Therefore disconnect
the mains plug from the socket when the receiver
is not used for a longer period of time

4.1.1 Interconnecting multiple receivers
Fig 4 shows interconnection of multiple receivers
R-4 / 5 Only for the first receiver, two antennas
and a mains cable are required The other receiv-
ers are interconnected by means of the cables
supplied Thus, up to ten receivers R-4 / 5 can most
conveniently be interconnected

4.2 Switching the receiver on or off,

indications on the display, volume,
key lock

warning messages may periodically be shown:
