Opening the ladder to full length (Fig. A, B, C)
If you are opening the Ladder to its full
length, you should always extend from top
to bottom.
• P lace the Telescopic Ladder on a firm, level
surface. Ensure the ladder is in closed position
as shown on figure C1.
• Unlock the Storage strap (4).
• P lace one foot on the Bottom Rung (5) to stabi-
lise the ladder. Ensure that the front side of the
ladder is facing you.
• S tarting with the Top Bar ((1) as shown in figure
C3), use both hands to grasp the Hand Grips (7)
on either side of the rung and pull upwards to
extend the step.
• W hen each step is fully extended, you should
hear a "click", confirming that the Locking
Mechanisms (6) are engaged for that level.
• C heck that all opened rung sections are locked,
the red Locking Mechanisms (6) should be
clearly visible, as shown on figure B1. Meanwhi-
le, the red parts of the Retract Levers (8) should
not be visible. Also ensure that all the distances
between opened rungs are of equal height.
• W hen all sections are locked, you can use
the ladder. Position the ladder with a correct
angle for a leaning ladder (angle of inclination
approximately 1:4) with the rungs or treads
level (e.g. 1m away from the base of a wall if
extending to climb 4m up).
Closing the ladder (Fig. A, D)
The entire ladder is closed by using the
Retract Levers (8). For safety reasons, the
treads may not be closed separately.
Do not engage the locking mechanisms (6)
manually. Only use the Retract levers (8) to
close the ladder.
• H old the Telescopic Ladder in an upright position.
• P lace one foot on the Bottom Rung (5) to stabi-
lise the Ladder.
• S tarting at the rung where the Retract Levers
(8) are placed, use both hands to grasp the
Hand Grips (7) on either side of the rung. Ensu-
re your hands are placed in such way as shown
on figure E, securing you do not catch your
fingers when closing the ladder.
• T hen disengage the Retract Levers (8) with your

thumbs by pushing them towards the centre, so
the red parts become visible.
• T he ladder will now start closing. For safety
reasons, the ladder has been fitted with a
soft-closing system, preventing the ladder from
closing rapidly.
Transporting the ladder (Fig. A)
Only transport the ladder when the Storage
Strap is locked.
When carrying the ladder, completely close the lad-
der to its most compact form. Ensure the Storage
Strap (4) is locked, securing the ladder.
4. MAINTENANCE
The ladder is designed to function
faultlessly for a long period and with a
minimum of maintenance. Extend its
lifespan by regularly cleaning the machine
and treating it correctly.
Fully collapse the ladder, closing all rungs,
and secure before storage or handling.
Cleaning
Regularly clean the machine, preferably after each
use. Clean with a suitable proprietary household
cleaner and a soft dry cloth. Do not submerge your
ladder in water or any liquid for any reason.Do not
use solvents (petrol, alcohol, ammoniA, Dtc.) as
they will damage the plastic parts.
Storage
Store your ladder indoors in a dry environment
away from contaminants. Do not rest other
objects on the ladder. Only store the ladder when
it is dry. Do not subject your ladder system to
humid or damp environments, these can damage
the ladder.Store the correct way up. The base
should always sit on the ground.Store out of reach
of children.
Maintenance
Never use a damaged or broken telescopic ladder.
Temporary repairs are not permitted. Check the
plastic feet of the ladder before and after use of the
ladder. Do not use the ladder without the plastic
feet or when the plastic feet are worn. The ladder
is fitted with plastic covers at the top of the ladder,
