• Products that have been modified, or which have damaged, altered, erased or

oxidised guarantee seals or serial numbers.
• Replaceable batteries and accessories are guaranteed for 6 months.
• Battery failure, caused by overcharging or by failure to follow the safety
instructions set out in the manual.
• Cosmetic damage, including scratches, bumps or vandalism.
• Damage caused by any servicing operations carried out by non-authorised
persons.
• Faults caused by normal wear and tear or the normal ageing of the product:
seals, filters, accessories, vacuum cleaner brush and hose, lamps, overhead
projector lamps, washing machine paddles, etc.
• Software updates as a consequence of changes to network settings.
• Damage caused by elements external to the appliance (foreign bodies, insects,
etc.).
• The contents of the devices - freezer, washing machine, etc. (food, clothing, etc.)
• Product failure caused by the use of third-party software to modify, change,
adapt or alter the product as is.
• Product failure resulting from its use without the accessories supplied with the
product or approved by the Manufacturer.
• Parts for normal wear and tear or damage from use: tyre, inner tube, brake, etc.
The customer is responsible for regularly backing up the data contained on their
hard disk or in the internal memory of their device, and this before any claim is
submitted.
Auchan cannot be held liable for the loss or destruction of stored data, nor may
it be held liable for damage caused to software resulting from, in particular, a
restoration or a breakdown.
Similarly, Auchan is not required to check that SIM/SD cards have been removed
from returned products.
Under no circumstances shall the provisions set out above reduce or eliminate:
the legal guarantee referred to above, and the manufacturer's commercial
guarantee, if applicable (see guarantee form).
