Do not leave used batteries in the multimeter. Even leak-proof batteries may
be subject to corrosion and leak chemicals that are hazardous to your health
and may damage the device.
Do not leave batteries lying about unattended. Children or pets may swallow
batteries left lying about. If a battery has been swallowed, seek medical
attention immediately.
Remove the batteries from the device for extended periods of disuse to
prevent leakage.
Leaking or damaged batteries may cause chemical burns if they come into
contact with your skin. Wear suitable protective hand wear when handling
such batteries.
Never short-circuit batteries. Do not throw batteries into fire.
Never charge or dismantle batteries. This poses a risk of fire and explosion.
