Avoid use in the direct vicinity of:
- strong magnetic or electromagnetic fields
- transmitting antennas or high-frequency generators.
Failure to do so may falsify readings.
If you have a reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it
immediately and secure it against being operated unintentionally. Safe operation is no longer
guaranteed when:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device no longer works and
- the device was stored for a long period of time under adverse conditions or
- the device has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
Never switch on the multimeter immediately after it has been taken from a cold to a warm
environment. The condensation generated could destroy the product. Leave the device turned
off until it has reached room temperature.
Do not leave packaging material unattended, as children could use it as a toy creating
hazardous situations.
Observe all other safety instructions in each chapter of these instructions.
