Operating the Walkie−Talkies
Searching for a channel
Signals are searched for on all eight channels and all CTCSS/DCS codes in a continuous
cycle. The channel search is stopped if radio communication is found.

Press the P button to enable radio communication on this channel. The
walkie−talkie is set to the channel and channel scanning is ended.

If you do not press the P button, channel scanning is resumed five seconds after
no signal has been transmitted on this channel.

The scanning routine stops at every channel on which a signal is received regardless of the
CTCSS/DCS code transmitted with the signal.

Dual−channel monitoring
When dual−channel monitoring is activated, the walkie−talkie automatically switches between
two channels until a communication signal is detected. This means you can talk to two
callers on separate channels.

Transmitting the ringing tone
The ringing tones indicate to other subscribers that you want to talk to them. A condition for
this is that the other subscribers are using the same channel and CTCSS/DCS code.
