CA LINE
A/B input selector and indicators
Select the line Input, LINE A or LINE B.
Depress the selector for LINE B, and press to release it
for LINE A. The selected input indicator lights.
[2] CMPTR (computer) input select switch and indicator
When using the CMPTR connector, depress this switch
(= ON). The indicator lights. When the CMPTR
connector is not to be used, press this switch again (a.
OFF).
-
Note on the superimposing function
This unit can superimpose the CMPTR
Input source onto
the LINE A or B input source. For this function, when the
CMPTR switch is depressed, both the CMPTR indicator
and the previously selected LINE A or B input indicator
light.
[4] VOLUME control
Tum clockwise for more

[4] PICTURE control
Turn clockwise for more contrast, color intensity and
brightness, and counterclockwise for less.
[E] BRIGHT (brightness) control
Tum clockwise to make the picture brighter, and
counterclockwise to make it darker.
[€] COLOR control
Turn clockwise to make the color intensity vivid, and
counterclockwise to make it pale.
HUE control
Turn clockwise to make the skin tones purplish and
counterclockwise to make it greenish.
The COLOR and HUE controls are not effective on the
CMPTR input source. `
V HOLD (vertical hold) control
Turn to stabilize the picture if it rolls vert. cally.
[9] H CENT (horizontal centering) contol
Turn to center the picture if it is decentered.
(10) CMPTR (computer) Input
CMPTR (computer) connector (25-pin, D-sub)
Connect to a microcomputer with digital or analog RGB
outputs. For the pin assignment, refer to
SPECIFICATIONS.
SYNC ON GREEN switch
When an RGB input source is connected to the CMPTR
connector, set this switch to:
ON: to synchronize with the sync signal on G-signal.
OFF: to synchronize with HNV. sync signal or composite
sync signal.
(11) LINE B input
VTR connector (8-pin)
Connect to a VCR with an 8-pin TV connector.
- S VIDEO IN connector {4-pin, mini-DIN) and AUDIO IN
jack (phono)
Connect to a VCR with an S VIDEO output connector.
S VIDEO/VTR selector
S VIDEO: to input the video/audio signals from the
S VIDEO IN/AUDIO IN connectors
VTR: to input the video/audio signals from the VTR
connector
[2] LINE A input/output

VIDEO IN connector (BNC type) and AUDIO IN jack
(phono)

Connect to the video and audio output: of a VCR.
VIDEO OUT connector (BNC type) and AUDIO OUT
jack (phono)
Loop-through outputs of the VIDEO IN/AUDIO IN
connectors.
Connect to the video and audio inputs of another
monitor.
75-ohm termination switch
When only the VIDEO IN connector Is used (nothing Is
connected to the VIDEO OUT connector), set this switch
to ON. When both connectors are used together for
loop-through connection, set the switch to OFF.
[13] Foot
To set the screen vertically, attach the supplied feet.
