General information
1. Play this game together with your cat and place it
somewhere, where your cat feels undisturbed.
2. Start when your cat is awake and in playing mood,
1 ½ hours after feeding at the earliest. You can
also use the normal dry feed instead of treats as
an alternative.
3. Sit down beside your cat and watch her unobtrusi-
vely and quietly without staring at her.
4. To motivate your cat, choose treats she specially
likes to begin with, and place these in the game in
her presence.
5. Help your cat with the task at the beginning to
keep her motivated. It is important for your cat
to be successful fairly quickly so that she
connects positive feelings to the game.
6. In case your cat does not achieve a subgoal after
several tries, help her or repeat a task she can do
well and train in smaller steps. Try to motivate
your cat with praise. There should never be
scolding or punishment.
7. Train in small units (max. 10 minutes) and with
small goals. Several training units during the day
provide a lot of small successes and prevent
excessive demand on your cat.
Important notice: Cats react very differently to
new toys. Some are very motivated to play right
from the start while others have to get used to
new things first. They start by ignoring the new
toy but later they play with it excitedly. In
addition to that, there are cats that like to concen-
trate on a game for a longer time, while others
prefer to play for a short while only but more
often. Whichever way your cat chooses, give her
time to play the game as she likes to do it.

The training can begin
The first step is to make your cat feel sure that
the game is a guarantee for a tasty surprise.
Therefore, first spread a few treats on the game
board and let your cat eat them. Once your cat
looks on expectantly when you prepare the game,
you can begin to fill the game elements with
treats.
Attention:
Cats under the age of 3 months can get stuck
with their heads, and therefore must be supervi-
sed when using the Tunnel Feeder.
1. Screw open the lid of the food compartment.
2. Turn the adjustable pin all they way to the top.
3. Fill the compartment completely with dry cat
food.
4. Hold the Tunnel Feeder sideways in a horizontal
position.
Turn
the
adjustable
pin
downwards so far that the storage areas for the 3
tunnels and the 3 tubes are filled and no more
food crumbs are trickling down.
5. Place the Tunnel Feeder at the desired location.
6. Refill the food storage compartment completely
with food again and close the lid.
The cat can now pry the food out of the tubes
with its paws and feed at its own chosen pace
through active exercise.
Tip:
Should a piece of food get jammed in the food
storage compartment, twist the pin as far down
as is necessary to clear the jam.
F Mode d'emploi
Informations générales
1. Le jeu est destiné à jouer avec votre chat.
Installez-le dans un endroit où il ne se sentira pas
dérangé.
2. Commencez lorsque votre chat est réveillé et en
mode jeu, au moins 1 heure ½ après son repas.
Vous pouvez aussi utiliser alternativement ses
aliments habituels ou des friandises.
3. Asseyez-vous à côté de votre chat et observez-le
discrètement et calmement sans le regarder.
4. Pour motiver votre chat, choisissez au départ des
friandises
qu'il
aime
particulièrement,
placez-les dans le jeu en sa présence.
5. Au départ, aidez votre chat pour le maintenir
motivé. Il est important qu'il arrive à réussir assez
rapidement pour qu'il relie le jeu avec quelque
chose de positif.
6. Si, après plusieurs essais, votre chat n'atteint pas
son but, aidez-le ou répétez un exercice qu'il sait
back
bien faire et entrainez-le par petites étapes.
Essayez de motiver votre chat en le félicitant. Ne
jamais réprimander ou punir le chat.
7. Faites de petites séances d'entraînement (max.
10 minutes) avec de petits objectifs. Plusieurs
séances d'entraînement dans une journée apport-
ent beaucoup de petits succès et évitent une
demande excessive à votre chat.
Note importante : Les chats réagissent de
manières très différentes aux nouveaux jeux.
Certains sont très motivés à jouer dès le début,
pendant que d'autres ont besoin de se familiari-
ser aux nouveaux objets. Ils commencent par
ignorer le nouveau jeu mais plus tard y joueront
avec excitation. De plus, certains chats aiment se
concentrer longtemps sur un jeu alors que
d'autres préfèrent jouer sur de courts moments,
mais plus souvent. Quelle que soit l'attitude que
votre chat choisit, donnez-lui le temps de jouer
aussi longtemps qu'il le souhaite.

L'entraînement peut commencer
Cette première étape a pour objectif d'assurer à
votre chat une surprise gourmande. Pour cela, au
départ, éparpillez quelques friandises sur le
plateau de jeu et laissez votre chat les manger.
Lorsqu'il vous regarde avec intérêt préparer le jeu,
vous pouvez commencer à remplir les éléments
de friandises.
Attention:
Les chats de moins de 3 mois peuvent se coincer
et
la tête, et doivent par conséquent être surveillés
lors de l'utilisation du Tunnel Feeder.
1. Dévisser le couvercle du réservoir de nourriture
pour l'ouvrir
2. Régler les ergots jusqu'en haut en les tournant.
3. Remplir entièrement le réservoir d'aliment sec
pour chats.
4. Tenir le Tunnel Feeder sur le côté en position
horizontale. Tourner les ergots réglables à
nouveau vers le bas jusqu'au complet remplissa-
ge des compartiments des 3 tunnels et 3 tubes et
sans qu'aucune miette ne tombe.
5. Placez le Tunnel Feeder à l'endroit désiré.
6. Remplir à nouveau le réservoir avec la nourriture
et fermer le couvercle.
Le chat peut maintenant faire sortir la nourriture
avec ses pattes et manger à son propre rythme
pendant l'exercice.
Conseils:
Si un morceau de nourriture est coincé dans le
réservoir de nourriture, tourner l'ergot aussi bas
que nécessaire pour le décoincer.
