6.3. BATTERY CHARGE
The voltage and the supply current have
to comply with the indications on the rating plate of
the charger.
Before using the battery for the first time or if the
battery has not been used for a long time, charge it for
at least 24 hours.
To charge the battery connect the charger to the
connector of the machine and then connect the
charger to the network. The red light on the charger
will light indicating that the battery is charging. When
the battery is full the charger light will go from red to
green and you can use the machine.
The normal charging time for a fully discharged
battery is 8 hours.
Notes:
- The battery will discharge slowly if after
charge the battery you disconnect the charger
the network but keeps the battery connected to
charger. Do not leave the battery connected to
the charger with the charger disconnected from the
network.
- The battery will require 2 or 3 complete cycles of
charge discharge until you get your maximum
energy storage capacity.
- If you are not going to use the battery for a period
of long time charge it at maximum for 8 hours,
store it in an appropriate place and recharge it
every 30 days.
- During the charging period, the charger will warm
up slightly. This is normal and does not indicate any
problem.
- Follow the following tips to ensure that your
battery's charging capacity is maintained as long
as possible:
- Avoid completely discharging the battery.
The life of the battery will be longer if you
recharge the battery when you notice that the
power of your machine decreases and do not let it
run out completely.
- Always recharge the battery inside your house
and garage to preserve the battery and charger from
moisture and inclement weather.
- Recharge the battery at temperatures between 0ºC
and 40ºC.
- Always keep the battery away from water, damp
areas, heat sources and chemicals.
6.3.1 CHARGER THE BATTERY
1. Insert the charging plug into the connector
indicated below
2. Connect the power cord to a 230 V outlet.
3. Once the battery is charged, disconnect the
charger from the power outlet and from the
fumigator power outlet
6.4. VERIFICATION POINTS BEFORE FILLING THE
DEPOSIT
Check the machine and look for loose parts (screws,
nuts, housings, etc.) and damages. Tighten, repair
or replace the parts that you have found in poor
condition.
